The 2nd Annual “Bag Childhood Cancer” corn hole tournament was a resounding success! With over 100 participants showcasing their corn hole skills, the event garnered enthusiastic support from fans. The Great Shots Backyard Bar & Games once again provided an ideal venue—easy, entertaining, and fun—while allowing attendees to escape the February cold. It’s always sunny and seventy in Great Shots’ Backyard!

Local TV and radio personalities rallied behind the cause, including Josh Holleman (WYCD), Alexandra Bahou (Channel 7 Action News), Screamin’ Scott Randall (WCXS), Jason Raithel, and Joanne Purtan (WOMC). Their airtime contributions helped raise awareness for this important event. A special shout-out to Jason and Scott for drawing the raffle tickets and adding to the excitement.

The highly anticipated raffles at 13 Forever events featured generous donations, including sports tickets (MSI), dog baskets (Fido), chocolates (Juliet), weekly Hungry Howie’s Pizza for a year (Anil), Rigid Power Tools (TTi), and two bottles of Japanese Blaton Bourbon (MSI). Lighthouse Towing’s purchase of one bourbon bottle for $1300, shared with 13 Forever supporters, deserves special recognition. Serra Whalen’s sponsorship of the Corn Hole Director, Jake, also contributed to the event’s success.

Looking ahead, we’re already excited about next year’s event! Keep an eye out for more fun and meaningful experiences. 🎉🌟
