A Swing for Hope: 5th Annual Team JBird Golf Classic Supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
This past weekend 13 Forever proudly hosted its 5th Annual Team JBird Golf Classic, bringing together generous supporters, sponsors, and friends for a day filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and compassion — all in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
This year’s event was our most successful yet, continuing the heartfelt legacy of Team JBird and our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families facing unimaginable challenges. Golfers from across the region joined together not just for the love of the game, but for a shared commitment to giving hope to those who need it most.
We were deeply honored to welcome several special guests who helped make the day unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to our local celebrity participants — Jason Raithel from WOMC 104.3, Screamin’ Scott Randall from WCSX 94.7, and Alexandra Bahou and Carli Petrus from WXYZ-TV — for lending their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support the cause. Their presence added excitement, fun, and community spirit to an already amazing day.
From the first tee to the last putt, the event was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and touching reminders of why we gather each year. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our players, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised vital funds that will go directly toward the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
As we celebrate five years of swinging for a cause, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success. Together, we are keeping Team JBird’s spirit alive and ensuring that hope shines brighter for children everywhere.
